Originally from Northbrook, Ryan grew up playing for the Northbrook Bluehawks and the Highland Park Falcons.  After high school, Ryan played junior hockey for the Wisconsin Rampage.  He then went on to play NCAA D3 and ACHA D2/3 at Aurora University where he played in two ACHA National Championships and was on the school's inaugural NCAA D3 team.  Ryan began his hockey coaching career immediately upon graduating from Aurora.  He is returning to Notre Dame and bringing experience from having coached the Wilmette and Winnetka Hockey Clubs.  Most recently, Ryan led the New Trier Junior Varsity Team to the final four of the Illinois Blue Division High School tournament.  Ryan is certified as a USA Hockey Level 4 coach.  Contact Ryan at NDCPhockey.HD@gmail.com.

Having grown up in Schiller Park, IL, Justin Blum spent his youth playing hockey in Addison and Park Ridge where Mike Silenzi was his first coach! He then went on to play Junior A, Tier 3 in the CSHL for the Peoria Mustangs and Junior A, Tier 2 in the NAHL for the Albert Lea  Thunder. The thrill of watching kids learn to play the game of hockey the correct way led him to coaching. He has coached for various organizations in the Chicago area, most recently winning national and state titles in 2023 for PREP Hockey.  He also won back-to-back league championships in the IHSHL in 2022 and 2023, as well as the 2025 JV Championship with Notre Dame. One of his most memorable moments was watching the team hop on the boards after clinching the national title, the look on their faces was something he will never forget. Justin says, “winning is great, but seeing player development is something that is truly special.”

Christian, a Notre Dame College Prep alum (2016) began his coaching career with NDCP Hockey in the 21'-22' season as the Assistant Junior Varsity coach.  Following graduation, Christian  went on to earn his Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurship at Missouri State University. During that time Christian played on the ACHA Division 3 team for 4 years and was a captain for 3 seasons. Christian is excited to stay in the game and pass on all the knowledge and skills he's obtained over 21 years of playing experience.  

Michael grew up in Springfield, IL and played his youth hockey for the Springfield Kings, Bloomington Thunder, and Peoria Rivermen. He went on to play at the University of Illinois in the 2022-23 season. Michael began his coaching career as the head coach and general manager of the University of Illinois Fighting Illini (ACHA II) in the 2023-24 season. In 2024-25, he served as the video coach intern for the Bloomington Bison's inaugural ECHL season. Fox also serves as a Tracker for Clear Sight Analytics, where he analyzes over 85 NHL games per season, and as a family hockey advisor for Import Sports Management. Michael holds a master's degree from the University of Illinois in Recreation, Sport and Tourism.
